Senator Abe Wants To Stop My Appointment

MAGNUS ABEDr. Henry Ogiri, a board member, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has alleged that Senator Magnus Ngei Abe wrote a petition to the upper chamber of the National Assembly to stop his appointment. Dr. Ogiri who made this known, while speaking at the inauguration of LGA and Ward Officers of the Grassroot Development Initiative (GDI) in the Abua/Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State, condemned Senator Abe’s moves to stop his screening at the National Assembly.

Dr. Ogiri promised to ensure that he would use his appointment to usher in the needed development into the LGA. He called on the people to stand behind President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 general election.

Dr. Ogiri had earlier blasted ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo for the 18 page letter he sent to President Jonathan. He described OBJ as “failed politician” and urged him to leave President Jonathan alone.

“I have a 18 paragraph response to the letter OBJ sent to President Goodluck Jonathan. And at the appropriate time I shall release it”, Ogiri concluded. ###
