The Rivers State chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), will commence its end of year gala and award night on the 20th of December, with a friendly football match with their counterpart, Port Harcourt Premier All stars football.
The epoch-making ceremony promised to be exciting as notable personalities who have contributed to sport development will be selectively honoured with awards.
Brainstorming on this, the association is having series of meeting to have a befitting SWAN week.
The association is therefore calling on all fans, corporate organizations, well meaning individuals, associates, to support the state sports writers association, to have the best SWAN week of recent times.
