There was wailing and gnashing of teeth as two speed boats collided along Bille creek, killing a woman simply identified as Mrs. Faka. The deceased hailed from Ogoloma community in the Okrika Local Government Area of the state.
Our correspondent reported that several passengers were wounded during the accident.
The injured passengers are now receiving treatment in the various medical centres in Port Harcourt.
We are reliably gathered Mrs. Faka was returning from burial when the tragedy struck.
As at the time of going to press her remains have been deposited in a mortuary in Port Harcourt. ###
