The Kalabari Unity Project Initiative for Good Governance (KUPIGG) has sent a letter of congratulations to the Caretaker Committee chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. Rowland Sekibo on his recent appointment.
The members of the group said that the appointment of Hon. Sekibo did not come to them as a surprise considering his hardwork, commitment and love for community development and political participation.
The congratulatory letter was jointly signed by Comrade Jerry Horsfall, Chairman, Bob Spiff, Director-general, Mrs. Tamuno-emi Amakiri, Vice Chairman and Mrs. Ndokiba Austine, the KUPIGG described the appointment as well deserved, expressing optimism that Hon. Sekibo has all what it takes to move the Akulga to the next level of community development.
KUPIGG thanked Governor Nyesom Wike for appointing Hon. Sekibo as the CTC chairman of Akulga. The group observed that Hon. Sekibo’s appointment is the right thing that has happened to the people of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area in the current political dispensation.
KUPIGG who expressed its unalloyed support to the governor, called on the Akulgans to rally round Hon Sekibo to succeed.
The group prayed God to give the CTC chairman the King Solomon’s wisdom to pilot the affairs of the LGA to the Promised Land. ###
