OBALGA TO SUPPORT IKWERRE MEDIA PRACTITIONERS
The Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Prince Timothy Nsirim has promised to assist Ikwerre Media Practitioners (IMP) on their programmes.
Prince Nsirim gave the assurance when members of Ikwerre media practitioners paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
He described the body as a viable and unifying force which could enhance the fortunes of lkwerre, enjoining them to go to rural communities and identify those cultures that made Ikwerres unique.
The Chairman disclosed that most of the stalls at the Ultramodern market Rukpokwu would be allocated to lkwerre indigenous traders while other traders would have the rest.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Union, Chief Monday Wehere thanked the Chairman for supporting their Media Project.
