A high level members of unequal reputation organisation called Boonalo Gokana recently had a crucial meeting in the area and came up with unreval position on how to thinker out sound ideas to develop the Local Government Area.
Speaking with pressmen who were inaugurated during the meeting proceeding at the Gberesaakoo Hall, Kpor, Sir Hon. Kpoobari D Baadom, who doubles as Boonalo Gokana and Bori State Creation President said the body was long in existence and have been working graciously to put Gokana in it’s required developmental state as well as bring all facets or phases of the area in peace and unity.
He, with all amount of commitment and curiosity pointed out key areas that the body definitely decided to work on after their last meeting of the 19th day of September.
Members observed that education, provision for solar light as well as congratulating Federal Government for the establishment of the Federal University of Environment and Technology, Ogoni will show case gratitude of the entire Gokana people before Mr. President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria..
The body therefore, decided to send congratulations to the Vice Chancellor, Chairman, members of the governing Council of the Federal University and the just appointed Chairman of Ken Poly governing Council.
In consideration to how useful the body can contribute to the recent school policies especially that of the idea of ensuring School children in the primary and secondary schools turning computer literate to enable them write whatever examinations before them.
Boonalo Gokana decided to work in synergy with the Local Government Council in the area and to ensure the recently sworn in Chairman, Chief Confidence Dekoo and his team revives the Computer Center built by previous government of the area for use by school children of the L. G.A.
Sir Baadom maintain that the body shall be restlessly advocates for peace, unity at all devices in Gokana Local Government Area without any reason for an excuse or related issue that will tamper progress and close universal development in Gokana
The body also decided to bring on board other men of high reputation to fill in some position that they must have lost other persons one way or the other.
Also Press Committee of more than five members were inaugurated to boast information dissimilation of the body to both governmental organizations and general public.
Hi light of the meeting include unanimous position to bringing on board Chairman of the area, Chief Confidence Dekoo as member especially serving as Ex Official of the body.***
