The Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Samuel Eyiba, has called for healthy and harmonious relationship in the third tier of government.
Hon. Eyiba made the call in his office recently when the Mayor of Port Harcourt, Hon. Chimbiko Akarolo visited him in his office.
The Commissioner said the visit of the Mayor has made communication between them easier and charged the Chairman to always conduct himself properly to ensure that peace is maintained in his domain.
Responding, the Mayor expressed delight in his meeting with the Commissioner which he believed was a mark of mutual relationship and assured the Commissioner that he would create time again to enable them discuss the challenges affecting the LGA. ###
