Former Nigeria premier league boss Obaseki has declared to the Nigeria football authority to go on sabbatical leave as to put the football house in order.
Speaking in a radio programme, Obaseki said that when he was the boss of the Nigeria premier league board he tried his best, spending his personal hard earned money to sustain the league, wondering how the league could maintain its status when there is no money to run it effectively.
He berated FIFA on the nomenclature of both Nigeria Premier League and Nigeria Football Federation stating that FIFA is not in Nigeria to run football for Nigeria. He termed FIFA’s action against Nigeria as nonsense. ###
