The Governor of River State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi said that he will start afresh in any sector he performed poorly in his administration.
The governor made the declaration last weekend in Bori during the Save Rivers Movement rally and inauguration.
Governor Amaechi spoke from the back drop that some few individuals in Ogoni land have advised him not to come for the rally but they fail to give reason why he should not attend the inauguration.
Addressing the crowd, the Governor stated that he has given the people of Bori quality roads, health care, education, electricity among others.
He stated that some of them who claim that they have connection with the president have refused to use such connection to better the lives of their people.
The Governor used the occasion to thank the Inspector General of Police for the provision of adequate security for the Save Rivers Movement. Although, the Governor said he needs not to attend all the rallies but was only proving a point that if police said they will shoot, they should kill him first, that no army general fight a war and stay behind.###
