Bonny CTC Boss Warns Ogonis Against Violence

The Association of Ogoni Indigenes Bonny Chapter (OIAB) called on her members to be united.
The called was made, during the OIAB’s visit to the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon. Adonye Harold Wilcox in his office at Bonny.
In his address, the president of Ogoni indigenous Association, Elder Legbara Simee noted that they came to congratulate the council boss on his divine appointment as the chairman caretaker committee.
Simee lauded the council boss for accepting OIAB’s invitation not minding official schedules, pointing that Wilcox’s appointment is a blessing to Bonny LGA and the Ogoni residents in Bonny kingdom.
The president assured that Ogoni nation will continue to support and be loyal to the government. While he appealed to the council boss to include some faithful Ogonis in his appointment list.
In his response, the CTC chairman, Bonny, Hon. Wilcox thanked the Ogoni delegation for their visit; he noted that the cordial relationship between the Ogonis and Bonny kingdom cannot be over emphasized.
The council boss urged the Ogonis in Bonny Island not to be involved in any ugly act. He warned them against violence at this time of transition in the country while the chairman assured them that their interest will be protected without hesitation. ###
