Rivers Rerun: Security Agencies Were Not Decisive, Proactive – Abe

magnusThe candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers South East senatorial district, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, has blamed the law enforcement system in Nigeria for condoning the impunity that happened before, during and after the March 19 legislative rerun election in Rivers State.
He said law enforcement agencies were not decisive and proactive during the election, hence their inability to stem the several ugly incidents that occurred in the state.
Abe, who spoke during a live television programme monitored in Port Harcourt, stated that before the elections, Governor Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike was inciting his supporters to kill and maim officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), who dared to announce results that were in favour of APC.
