The Rumuezeolu Youths Movement in Oropotoma Kingdom, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State has elected new president, he is Comrade Bright Bigboy Dickson Chinda.
Comrade Chinda pulled fifty (50) votes out of seventy-six (76) votes cast to beat his close opponent Comrade Franklin Wonukwuru Chinda who got twenty-two (22) votes.
The election which took place at the weekend was attended by Youth leaders and activists from the neighbouring communities.
Speaking shortly after he has been declared as the new president of RYM, Comrade Chinda promised to run all inclusive administration. He said that his tenure will put smiles on the faces of the youths from the Rumuezeolu community.
Comrade Chinda thanked the youths to give him the mandate to serve adding he will not fail them in charge of his official functions. ###
