I, Prince Monibo M. G. Bob-Manuel (BA 68643) of the defunct Biafran National Guards on behalf of my family, and our living and fallen colleagues, commiserate with the family of our “General”, Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, who recently joined his ancestors.
He was a visionary military officer who loved and sacrificed for his father land. A transparent and detribalized leader who had confidence in all, irrespective of where one comes from.
We in Rivers State still believe in the “Ahiara” declaration for Nigeria to move forward.
We pray God to grant his soul a perfect peace and us the fortitude to bear the loss.
